Moodle: Creating Categories for the Question Bank
In Moodle, it is best to organize your questions into categories and subcategories so that you can easily find and select the questions you need. This is a similar concept to creating folders on your computer to organize your files.
To setup categories: Go to Questions > Categories > Scroll to the bottom of the page > Type in a name for your category (i.e. Chapter 1) > Add Category To setup a subcategory: Go to Questions > Categories > Scroll to the bottom of the page > Select the parent category you wish to put the subcategory under > Type in a name for your subcategory (i.e. Section 1) > Add Category Next, Export your questions from ExamView |
