Providing Feedback in Microsoft Word
The Review tab in Microsoft Word provides multiple opportunities for feedback.
Track Changes and Commenting
With this feature you can:

Try It:
1. Open the Practice Paper (to the right) 2. Click on the Review Tab, turn on Track Changes and begin editing the document

Immediate Feedback
Word allows for immediate feedback through:

Try It:
1. Open the Word Document above 2. Go to the Review Tab 3. Click Spelling & Grammar 4. Click Word count 5. Add Flesch-Kincaid Readability Scale to Word count: Go to Office button > Word Options > Proofing > Select "Show readability statistics" > OK 5. To view options for Grammar and Style Check: Go to Office button > Word Options > Proofing > Click the drop down menu next to writing style and select "Grammar Only" or "Grammar and Style" > Click Settings to view options > Make selection > OK > OK |
