Online tests and quizzes can provide students with immediate feedback and can be very efficient for the instructor. There are a variety of tools to use for online assessments. Many of the features are quite similar and your selection just depends on what type of software you use in class or are most comfortable with.

EdmodoCreating quizzes in Edmodo is very straight forward. It offers multiple question types and gives you the option of providing immediate feedback to students.

Google Docs (Forms)
Google forms are a great way of collecting submitted information into one spreadsheet. This makes it a great tool for collaborative research, surveys, feedback and of course - quizzes. See instructions below or watch a video on how to get started.
